One year anniversary
On December 17th, I made it to my one year anniversary as a cancer survivor. I am proud of that accomplishment. It is not one I ever planned to make, but I am glad I did. I was diagnosed early with breast cancer when I was 29 years old and have learned so much about it since. I am thankful to my husband for finding it and know more about it than I ever thought I would because of my mom. I lost my own mother to breast cancer several years ago and was proactive in it because of her. So needless to say, I am thankful to the good people in my life who have been there for me and a great team of doctors.
